Contacts & CRM

The people side of your job search

Leveo pairs the pipeline with a lightweight CRM built for job search. Grab profiles from LinkedIn, import your network in bulk, track how warm each relationship is, and see which of your contacts work at companies you're targeting.

Grabbing a contact

The fastest way to add someone to Leveo is to grab their profile from the page you're already looking at.

  1. Open a LinkedIn profile

Go to the profile of a recruiter, hiring manager, teammate, or anyone else you might want to reach out to.

  2. Open the side panel

Click the Leveo icon or press Alt + G. The panel detects the page type and shows a Profile page detected banner.

  3. Click grab

Leveo captures the name, role, company, and profile URL. The contact appears in the Contacts tab, tagged with their source.

Deduplication is automatic. If you grab the same profile twice, Leveo updates the existing contact rather than creating a duplicate. Their profile URL is the unique key.

Not on LinkedIn? You can add a contact manually — from the Contacts tab, tap Add contact and fill in name, role, company, and email as you have them.

Importing your LinkedIn network

Grabbing profiles one at a time is fine for people you're actively talking to, but the real leverage is bulk-importing your full network so Leveo can match it against the companies in your pipeline.

  1. Export your connections from LinkedIn

Go to LinkedIn → Me → Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Get a copy of your data. Request Connections only — it's a small file, usually ready in minutes.

  2. Open the Contacts tab

Tap Import CSV at the top. Drop in the Connections.csv file.

  3. Review and confirm

Leveo shows a preview of how many new contacts will be added. Confirm to import. Existing contacts (matched by name + company) are skipped.

Once imported, your network is searchable and, more importantly, matched to the companies in your pipeline. When you're looking at a saved job at Stripe, Leveo can surface every connection you have there.

Not sure? You can undo. The Contacts tab has a Clear imported contacts option that removes everything brought in via CSV without touching contacts you grabbed manually or from profile pages.

Relationship warmth

Every contact carries a warmth score from 0 to 100. It's Leveo's rough sense of how strong the relationship is right now — how likely you are to get a useful response if you reach out today.

Warm  ·  70–100 Recent conversation, active back-and-forth, or a close ongoing relationship. Ask for what you need directly.
Cooling  ·  40–69 You know each other but haven't talked recently. Lead with a genuine reconnect before asking for anything.
Cold  ·  0–39 Long-lost or never really connected. Treat like cold outreach — short, specific, easy to say yes to.

How warmth changes

Linking contacts to opportunities

The most valuable thing you can do with a contact is connect them to a role in your pipeline. That turns a name in a list into a specific asset — someone who could refer you, give you inside context, or forward your resume.

  1. From an opportunity

Open the opportunity detail. Under Contacts at this company, tap Link contact. Search for anyone in your network — Leveo prioritizes matches from the same company.

  2. From a contact

Open a contact's detail view. Under Linked opportunities, tap Add and pick a role from your pipeline.

Linked contacts show up on both sides — you'll see the linked person from the opportunity view, and the linked opportunity from the contact view. Warmth and last-contact dates carry through, so you always have context before reaching out.

Notes and last-contact dates

Each contact has a notes area. Notes are timestamped in the order you added them (newest first) and serve as your history of interactions.

Outreach and follow-ups

Once a contact is in Leveo, most of your outreach happens through the AI tools:

Best combo. Grab a job, link one or two contacts at that company, then use Draft message for a warm intro. Even one contact per opportunity lifts response rates dramatically over cold applications alone.
